Woo, talk about going from one end of the depression spectrum to the other. Last night I decided to go bed at around 11.30 cos I just didn't feel like being awake. When I laid down, though, I got crushingly lonely and freaked out, so I tried to call Eddie but there was no answer cos he was apparently on the phone. So I got dressed again and went over there as he finished talking to his family. Ian asked if we wanted to go somewhere, so as to avoid sitting around all night, so we agreed to that. I got contact lenses back in, Eddie put on shoes, and we eventually left. We walked through Central and then out to Main Street, where we decided to walk on the railroad tracks. It was freaking awesome in there cos the tracks are surrounded by heavy trees on both sides and the only light came from the CCB building ahead of us, and it made the tracks glow. Such an awesome environment! So we walked along the tracks for awhile, past the bridge that goes over Campus Drive, and then we eventually started walking on Main Street again, toward downtown. We saw bars and clubs and shops and so many aesthetically awesome buildings. It made me want to give up on college so far and go study architecture.

After that we decided to go toward the Durham Bulls Park, so we did that, and lusted for the huge warehouse across the street from it. Then on the way back to campus, we stopped at the University Ford and watched bats eat bugs under the bright-ass lights they have trained on the cars at night. And we saw more fun buildings on the way back, like the Heart of Durham Motel! I heart it, too. And after a fun walk through really dark forest on Duke University Road, we made it back here. And I was magically cured from my depression. Yay for late-night walks with people! Then I slept for like 11 hours, so I'm having kind of a late start today. I'm eating breakfast at 3 p.m., haha, but after that I'm gonna go do all my homework, and it will be wonderful.

Damn right ... next we need to go to the parking garage roof in the middle of the night to get an aerial view of the Durham!
