B's birthday is coming up and we're going to Red Lobster.

Time to work off the three types of shrimp in advance.

Welp, the week is going as well as can be expected. I have been in the gym Sunday, Tuesday, and today, and despite not having a holiday on Monday it hasn't been too nutty at work. I even solved two long-delayed problems today. B is wrapping an unprecedented three days off in a row, and used some of that free time to make a giant mac and cheese + fried chicken yesterday. I noticed my messenger bag smelled vaguely of grease when I set it down at work this morning; hopefully my coworkers don't mind. :)

It was a very damp and humid day for October. I sweated through my shirt on the way from work to the gym, then again from there to home. We are expecting more rain for the next two days, though at cooler temperatures. Even so, the long weekend of high temps is going to have an outsize impact on our Pepco bill at the time of year when it is supposed to be lower than the June-September timeframe. Post-tropical storms, you suck.

It is the star of every Thanksgiving Day and I should probably start running now to work off my inevitable several portions in advance.
