You ain't 'cause you tot.

1. Have you come to the conclusion that your parents' music (music popular in their time) isn't so bad?
I always liked some of it, mainly the old school country. My family is in unanimous agreement that Hank Williams > Hank Williams, Jr. > Hank Williams III. But I didn't ever get on board with the norteno standards that every single artist in the genre did over and over that never left any room for anything original on their albums.

2. Is there a song/group/singer you once adored, but don't now?
Rihanna? Otherwise pretty much everything in my iTunes is still in regular rotation.

3. Is there a song/group/singer you once despised, but is okay now?
I don't want to like Katy Perry, but her latest album is actually super good. And she has always had the benefit of amazing producers, so her whole discography is pop heaven and DJs have done super remixes with it.

In the realm of the artists as people, I used to consider Stephan Jenkins kind of douchey but just last year he did a great benefit concert for our work. And of all the artists that did something like this for us, he definitely was the most passionate about the cause. \m/

4. Have you ever heard a favorite song and suddenly had a reinterpretation its meaning?
Not that I can recall. But some songs that just used to be bops now have some nostalgia attached when I hear them again.

5. What song would you just as soon never hear again?
This Is Why I'm Hot. It was relegated into obscurity some months after that original release, until MLB players started using it as their at-bat music. ::baseball rage:: I will do a solid for Mims' career by modifying a lyric just this once for this entry's extremely lame title pun.

I doubt I could even make it for that long. I have so little willpower.
