Literally running toward dangling carrots.

Don't knock it until you try it.

Yesterday morning I managed to get a decent outdoor run, though it was super windy. Notwithstanding eating a bit of dirt, it felt great and I'm going to try to do that at least once every weekend.

Today was very long and featured many overdue errands (refilling transit card, buying stamps, piecemeal grocery shopping) plus a full day of work, and I managed to torture myself with a full lifting workout too. Nevertheless I did fit in the cooking of a ginger-glazed salmon filet and roasted potatoes/carrots for dinner. And I'm very glad I did.

Off to collapse now.

I could really do with running, but I have issues with my knees and ankles. Age!

I was actually out of commission for close to three months due to a muscle issue. And I can certainly feel that my body won't be able to run forever, so I enjoy it while I can.
