Then I can sleep properly. Maybe.

I graded over a hundred essays by my students this week, in preparation for handing them back at our final discussion section of the semester at 11:00 a.m. I thought sorting and entering the grades in my spreadsheet would be the easy part, but I was so burned out by that time that it took way longer than it should've. Sorry, anyone in the Starbucks this morning that had to witness me furiously flipping through paper and stapling wildly.

Anyhow, I'm now eating breakfast and reviewing the semester's readings, as today will be an extended class session to review for the final exam. So close to being done with this madness. I did enjoy teaching, and more so this time around than in the fall, but the workload I could do without.

After that, my day's agenda is:
  • Go to presentation of another capstone group in my program, on Climate Change Adaptation in U.S. Cities
  • Meeting with some of my capstone group on our final presentation next week
  • Contesting the parking ticket I got yesterday, which is totally bunk
  • Getting an eye doctor appointment
I want my fun Fridays back.
