Michigan has it. Lots of it.

Outside the gym

I am so obviously new to this state, because I'm going around taking photos of trees like this one. I've liked autumn here more than I expected, partially because it's difficult to be in a bad mood when nature has turned orange and red and partially because it's actually been somewhat warm (currently 60 degrees). I'm trying not to be embarrassed that I didn't really know what autumn was until this year. Four seasons ahoy!

Haha, it's still as yet undetermined whether or not Michigan actually has four seasons. They might only have three: summer, fall, and winter.

Okay, that's true. I'll report back if I survive winter.

i still think the mid-atlantic region has true four seasons, though some would argue that the winters aren't really winters (like the midwest).

sometimes i miss the seasons, but i'm also rather happy with the bay area's two seasons: spring and fall. we used to divide it into fire and non-fire, but now the state's just always on fire. :-p

I agree, but when summer is 6 months long (at least in NC), it seems a little uneven.

Try not to burn down, California!

I knew there was a reason that the autumn was always my favorite time of year growing up in Michigan. Thanks for reminding me of it.

I miss it.

It was beautiful while it lasted. Now we're down to almost no leaves.

60 degrees is pretty warm . . . . . if you're living at the North Pole! ;-)

True, I would not have considered it so warm in my previous life.
