Blast these grammar droughts!

In a desperate search for an old e-mail address that I need for work today, I opened up my undergrad e-mail account and found this old gem. From the time when it was called "The Facebook," this site has morphed many times; it doesn't look or work anything like it did four years ago, but that's okay because I think it's better now.

oh man, i remember registering for it way back when...this new-fangled thing out of the east coast that had just popped up on campus, one of the first west-coast schools to have it. and zuckerberg even invited the whole campus to a party at his hotel when he was in town seeking more VC money.

We didn't get a party! LOL. But I do remember it being considered a very Northeastern/Ivy League sort of website when it was first introduced here. Good times.

BTW I just added you on Facebook!

Have you seen the new facebook that they're about to roll out? www.new.facebook.com. If you haven't seen it and been completely flummoxed by it, you might want to hold off on saying it's better now than it was then.

I have seen it. It's not ideal, but I'm talking more about what the site allows (i.e. more social networking usability, like finding your old friends, less listing every album you've ever liked) than whether it's navigable. You can throw tomatoes at me and call me a Web 2.0 nerd if you want. :P

I tried last night, but I had a dinner, then took a sleeping pill, then called Emily because I realized I forgot to call her back 2 weeks ago, and then I literally passed out on my couch while I was getting ready to call you. I have an event tonight but I'll call when I get back.
