Except for the trains. And those people directing traffic that just get in the way.

I'm off to Chicago in the morning. I just finished packing, including the new pants and button down shirt that Sam and Emily helped me select at the mall on Friday. My flight leaves at 9 a.m., wooo.

We had some fun this weekend. California Pizza Kitchen with Emily, Christina C., and Sarah L. for dinner prior to the aforementioned shopping, and playing games with virga, Michael (Kyle's brother), and Emily with much wine and beer last night. Oh, and I was at a conference with Jason all day Saturday. You can read my liveblogs here, but they weren't terribly interesting unless you're a science blogger, or like to read science blogs. In any case, the conference was cool and I have some photos on my phone that I'll Bluetooth over sometime. And it was snowing as we left the conference! I swept over an inch of fluffy snow off of my car before we left. Nature has called my bluff on not having any winter weather, lol.

Well, this was a lame entry. But I gotta get to bed, so good night!

It's only in its second year, but it does exist: http://wiki.scienceblogging.com

Also, there *was* a session on blogging in public health and medicine! I went to another breakout session so I have no idea how it turned out, but someone's talking about it. :)
