music: I never thought I'd want to stab the baby Jesus, but ...

The wireless is free, and so is the really annoying Christmas Muzak.

Just a check in entry to say that I'm alive. It snowed 4 inches overnight in Vegasville and it was still going when we left for the airport. It took almost 3 hours to get here! The interstate was sooper icy, and we saw an 18 wheeler that had crashed into an arroyo minutes before in the opposite direction ... so it was kind of dangerous. But Dad is a good driver, and since we have 4 cars at home, we picked the one with 4 wheel drive lol. Now I is eating a bean burrito from the tiny New Mexican food place under the stairs to the observatory deck thing at the airport, and I'm looking at planes. There's barely any snow here in Albuquerque, which is lame but not unexpected. At least that means I should have an on-time flight. *hopes*

Okay, I'll be back in Durham tonight and may or may not provide lurid details of the trip. Until then, go drink the leftover turkey gravy. It's your patriotic duty.
