Pie and frustration.

mood: full of pie
music: Pansy Division ... haven't listened to them in a long time

I just got back from Honey's with Alexis, Stephen, and Kelly ... yay for key lime pie at midnight! That was a very cool place, and the tea was extraordinarily sweet too ... I want to go back sometime soon. And I was actually able to go on this outing because I've caught up on my homework! Super whoo-hoo! I'm not sure how I managed that, but it's good. So while we were there, we talked about random things like envisioning ourselves married, going home for Fall Break, and how much we miss Eddie! It's gonna be great when he's back here ... we're your fan club, Eddie!

The frustration comes from dealing with Livejournal! In fact, this is the second time I'm typing this entry cos the original one did not go through ... stress! I was trying to add to the semi-entry I wrote about this weekend yesterday, and I spent a whole hour typing it out ... but it was not to be. It got deleted! So I'm gonna go to bed now and just deal with it tomorrow.

Other notes: I talked to Jerry today cos I went to pick up my food from him in Perkins ... the conversation was very natural and easy, so I'm more at ease about that now. Also, I know all kinds of people in the Poli Sci department now because of him. Doris said hi to me in the library this morning, and I chatted with Nailah today too ... they're really cool.

And I got my plane ticket in the mail ... only about ten days until I go to Albuquerque! I'm extremely excited, but once again, I failed to call Chris ... at least I did talk to him on Saturday so he knows I'm coming ... next comes hammering out the details. Fall Break is gonna rock ...

Today has been a really good day, actually. I haven't gotten around to fixing my entry from this weekend yet, but I will.

I made it to my 9:10 class on time this morning ... whoo hoo! Other notable things of the day: At work, I'm purging files (meaning I get to read everything ... yay!) and I came across billions of hostile letters from alumni who were way against same-sex unions here ... one even said that he would "send his diplomas back if not for Coach K and the basketball team" ... crazy old codgers.

I gave my first tour today! Marni, Liz, and I did a three-person tandem tour for this girl from New Jersey and her mom, and it was a lot of fun ... I hope most of the tours I do are with very few people so we can converse rather than me having to talk at them for an hour. So yay for that ...

And finally, words I think need to be used more often:

I had about six more, but I forgot them all ... I'll add them as I remember.
