If Dulles Airport keeps growing it may someday be near D.C. (I was too lazy to photograph the cool parts)

Me at the Bryant Park Hotel

On its own

St. Patrick's Cathedral ... the entrance with the door for the very tall pope!

Cartier House ... if you put red awnings on your mansion, chances are it's not going to look this good.

Lots of Lever House!

Their roof garden is not as garish as many others.

I was inside the plaza here, so the building surrounded me on all sides ... pretty effing cool blend of public and private space.

From the Seagram plaza across the street

New York Racquet Club ... don't get me started on the politics, but yay McKim Mead & White

Seagram & Sons! It's so fun to see your favorite building ever. Even if it looks kind of crappy that day.

The lobby glows with unnecessary expense, heh.

Mmmm, Mies marble.

Crappy pictures of the Citigroup Center.

St. Bart's Orthodox Church ... which I had no idea existed til we passed by it ... yay Midtown

Chrysler Building ... those eagles are soooo big. Much bigger than the art deco boner I got when we were there.

This building and Grand Central Station don't quite match. But interesting.

Don't remember the name of this ... twas in Greenpoint.

I'll do the rest later ... gotta get food and pack some things now.

OMG I'm soooo excited for my trip! Thanks for sharing pictures. I'll have to find you to talk about cool places to go/see, though this is a wonderful start!
