So I'm back from Charleston ... here's what happened:

Sunday -- We drove and drove and drove (well, Stephen and Caroline did, anyway) from Durham to Charleston, becoming nauseous from the South of the Border billboards on the way ... then checked into the hotel and drove over a lot of scary bridges to go meet Kelly and John for dinner. We ate a hell of a lot, including much dessert, then John took us out on the beach for attempted cartwheels and other fun. I heart Kelly and John a lot.

Monday -- We woke up really late and went out on the beach for awhile, but were robbed of our chair cushions ... then went into Charleston, ate a hell of a lot at Hyman's, then walked around and shopped. Followed by watching X-Men 2 in a theater in a scary outdoor mall, and eating at the Mellow Mushroom. Damn, I had a good calzone there. Then a bunch of TV in the hotel room.

Tuesday -- Woke up even later, went out by the pool to tan, where we got rained on by balcony runoff, then I ate a big steak for dinner and colored on our table, followed by more walking around, another movie ("Identity", which was really fucking scary but kind of a let-down cos it was "all in his mind"), and more TV and randomness.

Today -- Stephen woke Caroline and I up early, we checked out of the hotel, and went to lunch at a Mexican restaurant where my chile relleno was just a pile of beef and cheese that tasted like chile ... it was confusing and salty, but still pretty good. Then a lot of driving back home, and we played a sex game on the way, haha.

Quote of the Vacation -- "Don't be scared, perhaps there will be an Applebee's!"
--Caroline

Um, yeah ... it was fun, and I got a good tan and five good meals, and spending time with Caroline and Stephen was awesome. Particularly our conversation that went til like 4 a.m. one night ... but I'm also glad to be back.

When I got back I checked my grades, and they were all online ... an A- in Polisci, an A- in Culanth, and a B- in History ... woo! My best semester ever, if it can be compared to the others, considering I took an underload. Anyway, I think I should go forward with my plans to make a T-shirt that says "My GPA is currently ___ " and fill it in when I feel like it ... la, so random. Right now it would say 2.886 ... that's the cumulative, wee!

Must call home ...

Sorry! I was operating under the assumption that everyone had seen it ... I promise it's still good!
