In this time zone, anyway. On Oahu I still have ample time.

1) What's the weather like where you are today?
Sunny, hot and somewhat humid.

2) How does this type of weather make you feel?
It's not ideal (the humidity, anyway), but I'm not going to change my life because of it. I do commute in gym garb rather than office clothes to make the day a bit more pleasant.

3) What's your favourite time of year (thinking about the weather)?
Very early and very late summer, where it is usually very warm but not crazy hot, and the days are still reasonably long.

4) Is there any weather that just makes you want to hide away indoors?
Days-long rain wears on me. I grew up in the high desert, where almost all of the rain in a year was during the relatively short "monsoon season" and rarely lasted more than an hour each day. For a long time I also struggled with December and January when the days are very short, but I seem to have adapted more recently.

5) If you were moving somewhere purely for the climate, where would it be - what's your perfect year-round weather scenario?
I keep saying that our desert Southwest is too much heat to handle when I'm there, but I actually might reconsider if I had the chance to move anywhere. Places like Palm Springs and Phoenix have excellent mild "winters" and many hundreds of days of sunshine every year, which I do want.

We're in our monsoon season now. Rwe keeps having really obnoxious haboobs. So much damage.

Eek. I never had to deal with the haboobs in the north, thankfully.

I'm trying to remember how much I love the Phoenix weather from November-April in an effort to distract myself from the constant days of over 105 we're in the middle of. By some miracle, it's 75 outside at the moment.

Right. I think if I won the lottery, I would "winter" in AZ and live elsewhere the rest of the year.
