Because prompts keep me organized.

Yoinked from here.

1. What is a favorite Christmas/Hanukah tradition of yours?
On Christmas Eve as a kid we always went to Mass at 6 pm (later upgraded to midnight when I was old enough). And while that was long and unpleasant, we had always put on a Crock Pot full of posole beforehand, so returning meant eating a giant bowl of that with red chile. The lovely smell of that as we reentered the house from a long church service was pretty excellent.

2. Do you listen to Christmas music while wrapping/bagging gifts?
Well, no. Aside from that (still brilliant) idea, I typically will have my iTunes on shuffle or TV going in the background.

3. How soon do you start playing holiday music?
I never seek it out. Most of my listens occur when I'm driving and the radio stations are blasting it out.

4. If you could change one thing about the holidays, what would it be?
The length of the "season." In order to ensure people attend, planners get their parties on the calendar as early as December 1. Which is just overwhelming and leads to unnecessary calories. And of course, retailers benefit by starting the advertising as early as possible. Since I typically confine my shopping to two weeks or less, I have no use for this.

5. Have you been naughty or nice? Remember, Santa is listening.
Probably nice. Depends who's counting, right?

I really like your tradition in #1. And #2 made me laugh.

I normally like Christmas music, but I'm not feeling it this year. I may watch a movie or two this week.

For #4, are you saying you'd make the season longer (to give more time for parties) or shorter (to cut down on parties and sales)?
