American Express also gets some ad space on my diploma.

The semester will be done and I'll be headed out of town for winter break in ten days. In the meantime, I have to wrap up my TAing gig (last class is tomorrow, then grading lies ahead), write three papers (one is halfway done, the others just bits in my mind), and give a thirty-minute presentation. My motivation is lessening by the day, but somehow I'll get there.

I keep finding things I need to order on Amazon; first was the new armband for my iPod, and tonight I needed a book about the history of the DC metro for this book. It's checked out of all our local libraries, and I've wanted to buy it anyway since I first saw it on twencenboy's coffee table a while back (I dunno if you still read this; if so, hi Stephen), and I have free shipping with Amazon Student Prime, so I decided to make life simple and buy it.

Other than that, life continues as usual. Brian is cool and gives me encouragement and reports his activities in DC (he definitely reads this; hi, babe). I like salmon-flavored cream cheese. The gym gets easier every day, but the people get more annoying. Mundane but real.
