Also, I got a new hat!


That enoromous fluffy roll is my new pillowtop mattress attachment, which I fetched from Ikea yesterday, along with new sheets. I just rolled it out and it has made my bed 80 times more comfortable already. Re: the last entry, I did eventually get home and sleep 4.5 hours, but didn't have this magical new addition on my bed at the time.

At face value that picture looks like you're headed to a sporting event with a huge foam finger like "Uh, in case you were asking, yeah, we're number 1."

In other news, I'm taking an anthropology course on urban citizenship and it's all your fault. OK, maybe not all your fault, but I still feel the need to blame you for me learning something.

Cool! I'd love to see the syllabus for your class sometime. And this semester I am taking two anthro courses and think often of you and all the characters from the Duke Culanth department. The doctoral students in my semiotic anthropology class are kicking my ass, but it's fun!
