mood: nerdyenormous bowl of cookie dough!

And less frequently burns down the entire kitchen.

It's fitting that I post this entry while I'm waiting for cookie dough to chill and thus be ready to roll into actual cookies. I'm making biscochitos for a bake sale tomorrow (yes, we still have these in grad school, sigh), hopefully I'll get photos of the result. Anyhow, here's recent stuff that I've cooked.



Potstickers (frozen; definitely don't make these myself) and soy sauce with cilantro. Cultures clash in my mouth.*



Mac and cheese again. Still sprinkling bacon on half of it.
I finally perfected the recipe by adding more ground mustard than seemed logical.

White chicken chili. Came out a bit thinner than I wanted, but still good.

I started with this recipe, but modified it by:

1) adding a bit more ground mustard,
2) using half cheddar and half mozzarella, and
3) adding chopped bacon to half right before putting it in the oven.
