mood: coldcold
music: My roommate is watching Glenn Beck, who is surprisingly mellow today.

But otherwise surprisingly unslovenly.

On Thursday after my awesome class, the professor suggested that we go out for a beer and hang out. So five of us (out of a class of 10 or 11) did so, and we had 90 minutes of fantastic brain-picking and bullshitting. In addition to MM, the Professor of Awesomeness, I learned the following from my classmates: Erin is a CUGS (getting a bachelor's and master's degree in 5 years instead of the usual 6), Tall Matt works at a restaurant that has amazing burgers that I need to try, Clay was a math major at MIT, and the guy I don't know the name of grew up in Nebraska. There may also have been chile cheese fries involved.

The winding down was particularly a relief because one of our other classmates kind of flipped out at the start of class. In response to MM asking for feedback on whether we were reading too many books for the semester, he declared it "ridiculous" and revealed that he had erroneously expected all of them to be scanned by the University and available for free online (um). For the first 90 minutes of class, he made sure we all knew from body language that he was ignoring the discussion, flipping through some random book like it was GQ, and then he left before the 2nd half of class began. It was extremely awkward.

Today I woke up at 1:00 p.m. and it was glorious! I <3 sleep. Did a bit on my street observation project for Theory, and also read a tiny bit for MM class next week. As soon as Glenn (roommate, not the yelling dude on Fox) gets back and lets me out of the driveway, I'm going to the gym and then to study Stats. On Friday night. You're jealous, admit it.
