OMFG it's so cold.

Remind me of this moment if I ever decide to move to Chicago, Boston, or New York.

Winter is not my friend. When people say, "Oh, you wouldn't want it to be summer all year round," I definitely do not agree. If it weren't for the fact that Florida is scary for many reasons, I would so be there right now.

I used my icon of me lying on the sand in Myrtle Beach for a reason.

I've heard it several times over the years, probably from uncreative people who can't imagine life different from its actual state. Me, I'm totally not gonna say, "Oh, it's October? I guess the leaves should be falling." EVERGREEN TREES ARE THE BEST THING EVER.

However, I think I will be visiting Sarah in Buffalo in Marchish; for her, I will tolerate some real winter.

Heh, I was thinking more along the lines of Miami. But yeah, from all the reports I've gotten of Florida, it's definitely not the state for me.

Weeeell, I do intend to try to claw my way into grad school at Berkeley. :D Or maybe I'll just move to L.A. and be done with it, haha.

Berkeley might be ok...but I think you'd go nuts in Southern California. San Diegans took turns using their collective brain cell.

Well, UC-Irvine was my island of knowledge in the vast vapid sea. As long as Berkeley is a huge diversity dance party like UCI, I'll be okay. :)

P.S.: Have you firmed up dates for a Durham visit?

Oh I'm sure Berkeley is super diverse, except politically!

RE:Durham...nope, no dates yet. My friend in Charleston isn't sure about my coming down, as he's moving to a swanky new house like a week before my anticipated arrival. Even if I can't make it down there, though, I'm going to the Triangle for sure. I can't believe I'm going to be home in 13 days!
